El Palmar - Vejer de la Frontera

This village belonging to the municipal district of Vejer de la Frontera (Cádiz) offers a lot of touristic appeals with a huge beach open to the South and perfect conditions to surf, bodyboard, kitesurf and many other sports in nature. El Palmar is the best known spot in the South of Spain and worldwide thanks to the high quality of its waves. Surf season begins in November and goes on until March, being East wind the most appropriate one.

El Palmar Beach is one of the few unexploited beaches remaining in our coasts and in Andalusia. Even though there is no housing development , the area has many services such as supermarket, chemist’s, hotels, lifeguards, first-aid post, beach cleaning, access walkways to the beach, warning signs, parking, etc. and a varied gastronomic offer, restaurants, tapas bars, refreshment stalls and open air places to have a drink while listening to good music.

It is a beautiful, neat and quiet beach with clean and nor too deep turquoise waters, divided in many parts by natural dunes of fine and golden sand to enjoy spectacular sunsets.

El Palmar is the perfect touristic destination to spend your holidays when looking for sun, beach, fresh air and activities like rambling, photography or birds sighting in such a surprising setting like Parque Natural de la Breña (Natural Park La Breña) and Barbate marshes, or just to explore the countless charming villages around us as Conil, Vejer de la Frontera, Barbate and Tarifa.

Whenever you come, alone, with a partner, with your friends or with children in El Palmar you may find a lot of things to do, to visit and to practice during your holidays, a leisure offer designed to satisfy the most exigent visitors.

Come and enjoy Paradise, we are waiting for you.
